EAST LONDON - PRIVATE RESIDENCE

Brief and Solution

This private garden located in East London had mostly flooding issues. Recently, since the water levels started rising, the gardens on that side on London started flooding often making the space unusable. The area was covered in mud on one half of the garden, and with pavement on the second half.

To make the garden approachable again, with a consultation with the owners, we suggested adding stone across all surface and replacing the mud that is currently on the property. This will help reduce the damage from flooding, and even help slow the flooding down.

We wanted to make the area family and friends friendly again. Adding a sitting area and a bbq area made the space enjoyable. It’s worth mentioning that the garden is generally quite small so adding too many elements would really crowd the space.

From the natural elements, we added plant pots with seasonal flowers that would really brighten up the space.
